Role

As the Manager- Aftersales you will be part of the HDBU and will report to the Lead- Aftersales.
The purpose of your role will be to manage the Hero H-D Aftersales business in his/her area of responsibility by maintaining customer satisfaction and retention through workshops with state of art Infrastructure, Manpower , Adhering to processes, Policies and guidelines set by H-D and HMCL and product support in the field through reactive and proactive corrections thereby ensuring sustainable growth in the Service Business.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • To implement the processes and SOP\'s for Service Business and customer experience and implement monitoring strategies to ensure compliance
  • Provide consistent product feedback for new models and existing models through E-Service requests or Vehicle technical report to H-D/PMG department and make loop closure for countermeasure implementation
  • To improve Manpower availability and training completion at workshops through effective utilization of Learning resources
  • Manage timely warranty submissions, processing and coordination with HMCL stakeholders for Dealer claim settlements

The role exists for managing the Hero H-D Aftersales business in his/her area of responsibility by maintaining customer satisfaction and retention through workshops with state of art Infrastructure, Manpower , Adhering to processes, Policies and guidelines set by H-D and HMCL and product support in the field through reactive and proactive corrections thereby ensuring sustainable growth in the Service Business.

Academic Qualification & Experience
  • B.E/B.Tech + MBA
  • 10+ years of experience in Aftersales preferably with OEM
Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Technical Knowledge of H-D motorcycles and processes
  • H-D Motorcycles Diagnostics skills and Master Level Certifications in Service ops and/or PAM
  • Service experience on Large Capacity multi cylinder motorcycles
  • Motorcycle customisation
  • Presentation & Communication skills.
  • Knowledge of H-D net, SAP and H-D warranty policies shall be added advantage
Behavioural Skills
  • Interpersonal skills, leadership skills and Communication skills to manage dealer and H-D communications independently
  • Knowhow to operate Excel, PowerPoint
  • Passionate about motorcycling and customisation
  • Negotiation & Conflict management
