Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Co-ordinate with external auditors for statutory audit. Performing monthly review of books of accounts and taking necessary corrective measures including implementation of controls. Take a lead role in conduct of Internal Audit of the company and discussing within the organization and taking corrective actions for the observations highlighted by the Internal Auditors. Identify wasteful expenditure and take measures to optimize cost. Support requirements of Operations team in day-to-day functioning Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and quick reference summary dashboards. Review of inter-company and related transactions. Monitoring of overseas subsidiaries\' accounting. Support on review and negotiation of contracts from an overall commercial, finance, tax and regulatory perspective Take initiatives towards automation of processes and remove manual processes. Expectation from the candidate: Should have in-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IND AS). Should have sound knowledge of working in an ERP environment. Should have a positive attitude, be a good team player, be willing to learn and be flexible to adapt into varied roles within the finance team. The person is expected to lead and execute activities in his/her areas with minimum supervision / monitoring or assistance.
