Qualification
Graduate / Post Graduate in Science / preferably MBA
Experience
4-6 years in Pharmaceutical industry, preferable experience of Key account management.

Position Summary

The position is responsible for maintaining and growing the BD Pharmaceutical system in the assigned region. Responsibility includes Sales/Marketing and Business Development in assigned region's Pharmaceutical Base

The incumbent will also be responsible for undertaking new projects which would include the planning and execution piece

Principal Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with current customers & developing newer contacts
  • Achievement of account budgets
  • Exploring & convert opportunity for BDPS within current customers
  • Exploring & convert opportunity for BDPS with new customers
  • Developing relationships with new customers
  • Exploring opportunities for other BD businesses in Pharma industry

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • Facilitate change management within the organization - develop competencies of Sales Associates to build a high performing team
  • Responsible for communicating with team and ensuring that the organizational goals are well understood
  • Ensure objective performance evaluation and management of team; establish a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement thereby developing and leading a group of energized and aggressive sales professionals
  • Ensure high motivation and enthusiasm level of team members


Unique Knowledge & Skills
  • Demonstrated Success interacting, working with and communicating with diverse customer base such as General Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment within an international

organization
  • Experience of Pharma industry
