Utilize SAP/ERP to schedule PMs, manage work orders, track spare parts inventory, and analyze maintenance history and costs.
2. Technical Hands-On Supervision:
Provide direct technical leadership and supervision to a team of electricians, welders, and multi-skilled technicians.
Possess deep hands-on knowledge and troubleshooting expertise for key plant equipment, including:
Packaging Machinery:
Tray sealing machines, flow wrap machines.
Utilities:
Boiler, screw compressor, nitrogen generator.
Plant Infrastructure:
Electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and the entire factory facility.
Lead and/or support major repairs and complex troubleshooting activities.
3. People Management & Leadership:
Schedule, assign, and prioritize daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks for the maintenance team.
Conduct performance reviews, provide technical training, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with company safety policies and procedures (LOTO, etc.).
4. Energy Saving & Cost Control:
Identify and lead projects aimed at reducing energy consumption (electrical, thermal, compressed air).
Manage the maintenance budget, control labor and material costs, and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
Spearhead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence and reduce long-term costs.
5. Administrative & Compliance Duties:
Maintain accurate and timely maintenance records, logs, and reports within the SAP/ERP system.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and central regulations for boilers and other pressurized equipment.
Manage critical spare parts inventory to balance cost with equipment availability.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of
3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory or team lead role
, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or dairy industry experience is highly preferred.
Proven, hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting
