Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other technical staff. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities. Inspect property areas regularly (guest rooms, public areas, back of house, and outdoor spaces) to identify maintenance needs. Assign daily tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests. Respond promptly to maintenance-related complaints or breakdowns to minimize downtime. Ensure all equipment, machinery, and systems (electrical panels, pumps, HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment, etc.) are properly maintained. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory. Liaise with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work and equipment servicing. Enforce safety and hygiene protocols for all maintenance operations. Train and guide the maintenance team in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. Support the Chief Engineer in budget preparation, cost control, and procurement planning. Ensure energy efficiency measures are implemented across the property. Maintain good coordination with all departments to address operational maintenance issues.
