The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery. The role focuses on preventive and breakdown maintenance, manpower supervision, and adherence to safety and maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure proper functioning of pumps, reactors, agitators, compressors, gearboxes, valves, and other plant equipment.
Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Lead and guide maintenance technicians and contractors on the shop floor.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit systems, and use of PPE during maintenance work.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption data.
Coordinate with production and utilities teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for recurring failures.
