Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
Team Leadership & Supervision
: Managing, leading, training, and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and staff, including delegating tasks, setting schedules, and conducting performance evaluations.
Maintenance Strategy & Execution
: Developing, implementing, and monitoring proactive maintenance plans, such as preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM), to ensure all systems and equipment function optimally and to prevent unexpected failures.
Inspections & Repairs
: Conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues, and planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities, coordinating with external contractors for specialized work as needed.
Safety & Compliance
: Ensuring all maintenance activities strictly adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA), implementing safety policies and conducting risk assessments.
Budget & Inventory Management
: Tracking expenses, managing the maintenance department's budget, monitoring equipment and spare parts inventory, and placing orders for new supplies efficiently.
Documentation & Reporting
: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, preparing reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities, and communicating progress and issues to senior management.
Continuous Improvement
: Analyzing maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
