The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of all hotel facilities, systems, and equipment. This includes managing a team of technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, handling emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for the property.
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors.
Ensure efficient operation of hotel systems (
VCR, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators,
etc.).
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues, guest complaints, and system failures.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
Develop budgets and control costs for maintenance activities.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and government regulations.
Work closely with other departments to support their operational needs.
Manage procurement and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
1+ years of experience in hotel or facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Problem-solving and leadership skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to manage budgets and maintenance software/systems.
