Job Summary

The Maintenance In-Charge is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all engineering and maintenance activities of the property to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations of facilities, equipment, and utilities, in line with hotel standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of all equipment and facilities Ensure smooth operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, sewage, STP, DG sets, boilers, and firefighting systems Supervise maintenance staff and technicians; allocate daily duties and prepare duty rosters Coordinate with departments to attend maintenance complaints and emergency repairs promptly Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-the-house facilities Maintain log books, maintenance records, AMC details, and service schedules Ensure compliance with statutory norms, safety standards, and government regulations Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-control and energy-saving initiatives Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers Ensure proper inventory control of tools, spares, and maintenance materials Handle renovation, refurbishment, and minor project works Ensure safety of guests, staff, and property at all times Support eco-friendly and sustainability initiatives of the property

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills Leadership and team management abilities Knowledge of hotel engineering systems Good communication and coordination skills Preventive maintenance planning and execution Safety and compliance awareness

Qualifications & Experience

ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering preferred Minimum 5-8 years of experience in hotel, resort, or facility maintenance Knowledge of statutory compliances and safety regulations

Working Conditions

Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays On-call availability for emergencies
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
