An Ideal Candidate: Shall be technically competent of maintenance process. knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations. Excellent written and Verbal Communication. working knowledge of electrical wiring and controls, compressor, lathe machine, band saw machine, paint booth, sand blasting unit, welding machines, overhead Cranes, rolling machine etc. Shall be proactive, good at planning, execution and motivating people. Self-motivator and shall be able to take team along with him. Shall be the believer and practitioner of Respect, Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Customer Centricity and Ownership.

Key Competencies:
1. Document maintenance processes and procedures and keep them up-to-date.
2. Create and maintain a database of machinery and equipment.
3. Develop a preventive maintenance schedule for all the equipment and decide on the best maintenance frequency.
4. Ensure a safe work environment.
5. Allocating maintenance tasks to team members.
6. Achieve the planned maintenance objectives.
7. Develop plans to reduce the breakdown of equipment and utilities.
8. Develop and implement preventive maintenance checklists and monitor the same.
9. Inspect the maintenance equipment periodically, analyze its condition and predict the failure of parts.
10. Coordinating with other departmental personnel in achieving planned maintenance activities.
11. Provide inputs to the purchase manager on the best brand of equipment and utilities in the event of a new purchase.
12. Plan and procure critical spares of equipment as per experience or as directed by the Original equipment manufacturer.
13. Document successfully solved repairs of critical equipment to help resolve similar equipment problems in future.
14. Track the age of machinery and utility and take suitable actions such as replacement or disposal with proper justification.
15. Perform periodic maintenance and routine calibration of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
16. Conduct negotiations with third-party contractors to determine the rate and terms of service.
17. Maintain accurate record of maintenance operations and present to upper management reports of daily activities.
