Job Description

Leading the planning, documenting and execution of all engineering erection and installation works as required across all zones on the plot premises such as: Production zone, Electrical Power zone, ETP zone, Utility zone, Storage zone, Lab and Pilot zone and Admin building as a whole.

Managing the entire team of maintenance & engineering including fitters, technicians, engineers and casual help.

Dynamically solving problems in a hands-on manner during operational breakdown or operational emergency situations.

Demonstrating flexible working style while using quick thinking and working with all team members to provide temporary solution for critical problems and then find a holistic solution. Later doing root cause analysis and data collection to ensure problem is solved.

Proactively getting entire team to do exercises related to preventive maintenance and operational efficiency (or other such initiatives as directed by company leadership) across the factory and all other zones on the premises. The aim is to help achieve operational excellence and minimize downtime and cost overruns. This involves meticulous planning and using approved formats for reports such as: individual machine history sheets, detailed maintenance logs, breakdown analysis and root cause analysis reports, Pareto analysis for cost tracking, safety reports and others.

Co-coordinating and communicating with other departments and teams as per the situation in order to get multi-disciplinary perspective for effective results during any engineering and maintenance work.

Leading the team to work positively and in united manner with each other and other teams in organization in order to achieve overall targets and outcomes of the company.
