Design implement and support mainframe systems and infrastructure

Develop and maintain batch jobs and online transaction processing applications

Monitor system performance and perform capacity planning to ensure system stability

Troubleshoot and resolve system failures application issues and performance bottlenecks

Perform regular system maintenance patches and upgrades to mainframe operating systems and software

Responsibility



Proven experience with IBM mainframe environments

Strong proficiency in PL1 Focus and JCL COBOL REXX VSAM and mainframe utilities

Knowledge of mainframe databases DB2 IMS and transaction processing systems CICS MQ

Solid understanding of system internals performance tuning and job scheduling

Experience with mainframe modernization or integration with distributedcloud platforms is a plus
