Our technology-driven firm’s Machine design department currently has an immediate opening for a Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will be responsible for machine design, New Product
development, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement. This an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is dedicated and passionate about craftsmanship and innovation. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Machine design and documentation
- Co-ordinate with Procurement and production team
- Research and optimization
- Mechanical calculations
- Component and material selection
- Thorough knowledge of 3D software (Creo), 2D software (AutoCAD) and Analysis software
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design
- Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
- Work experience in Agriculture machine design
- Knowledge of Ansys
- Hydraulic design and selection (Hydraulic cylinder, power pack, motors etc.)
