La Rosa , from the House of Rawat Jewels, is an upcoming home decor brand based out of Jaipur. La Rosa specialises in the use of semi-precious coloured stones such as lapis lazuli and malachite to make exquisite furniture and home decor products like mirror frames, door handles, consoles and chandeliers. As a company, we are committed to quality craftsmanship, delivering luxurious products that elevate any living space. La Rosa is looking for a full-time Furniture and Home Decor Designer / Product Designer in Jaipur to help increase its product portfolio. You will play a key role in conceptualising and creating accent home furniture and decor objects that showcase the unique beauty of semi-precious coloured stones. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, materiality, and aesthetics. Responsibilities: Conceptualise and design products to expand the product line. Collaborate closely with the team to brainstorm and develop new product ideas, taking into account customer preferences. Create detailed sketches and 2D/3D renderings of designs for internal review. Work closely with production and sourcing teams. Constantly research new tools, materials and techniques with focus on semi-precious coloured stones. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in industrial design, product design, or any other related field. Strong portfolio showcasing your previous works, particularly of home / decor objects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, or other similar tools. Knowledge in semi-precious coloured stones and their properties. [BONUS] Network of vendors (in wood, brass, etc) in Jaipur or in other cities in India. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and cost-effective design techniques.
