Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and monitor logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of steel and engineering products. Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor and manage stock levels, inbound and outbound shipments, and inventory accuracy. Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers to achieve cost efficiency. Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate documentation for logistics activities including invoices, bills of lading, shipping documents, and customs clearance (if applicable). Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations related to logistics. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Prepare logistics reports including cost analysis, delivery performance, and route optimization. Support project execution by coordinating movement of specialized steel and engineering materials to project sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration

, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in

logistics or supply chain management

(preferably in steel, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industry). Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation networks, and inventory management. Familiarity with ERP/Logistics Management Systems. Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to travel and manage on-site logistics when required.
