Project Description: Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company is providing Executive Project Management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” NEOM is a planned Border_town" style="color:#0563c1" target="_blank">cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.” NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSILITIES: Responsible for leading, planning and compliance monitoring of construction logistics operations in the context of the judicious objectives for the assigned project(s), including movements of construction materials, fuels, equipment, people, waste. Reporting to the Project Director, develops logistics strategy to support the project wide needs. Engages with stakeholders and develops relationships to understand customer needs and execute strategic goals. Managing multiple teams and interfaces
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• 
  Collaborates across geographic regions and projects to optimize logistics service provisions and facilities
• Understands the contract requirements for logistics within the construction contracts for their assigned areas
• Strategic development of construction logistics for optimized services of materials, services
• Customs clearance via NEOM government affairs and monitoring effectiveness of contractor logistics
• Develops Scope of Work, budget, contract packaging and other commercial documents required to implement logistics provisions via service providers or contractors
• Management of logistics facilities and services, making recommendations and providing value to the customer or in need of improvement
• Supporting the project Directors and the delivery teams to achieve their construction delivery objectives through sound management and communication of integrated logistics planning
• Managing the reporting lines and cross project alignment of objectives
• Leads on presentations to senior management and customer

Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge and Skill set Requirements:

• A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent)
• Minimum 25 years of experience in similar logistics planning and management role, preferably with contractor or PMC experience, preferably within construction or manufacturing.
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment between all parties including the Client, Contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English
• Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred
• Experience of working and living in camp locations
