Job Description

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and transportation operations for the outdoor furniture division of the company. They will coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensure timely and accurate delivery, and manage inventory levels. The Logistics Executive will work closely with other departments to ensure that logistics activities are aligned with overall business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Plan and manage transportation routes, including selecting carriers and negotiating rates
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure adequate stock levels
• Manage logistics budgets and track expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and policies that align with the company\'s goals and objectives
• Continuously monitor logistics performance and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Work closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure logistics activities are aligned with overall business goals
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements

• 
  Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management, preferably in the outdoor furniture industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with carrier selection and rate negotiation
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements
• Proficiency with logistics software and systems
