Locomotive Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Rolling Stock)

In this role with Siemens Mobility (SMO), you will report to the Head of Service (Rolling Stock) and work closely with all disciplines within the Rolling Stock and the wider business to ensure high quality order execution in line with project management processes governed by PM@Siemens guidelines.

You will be responsible Locomotive Testing and Commissioning work at Chittranjan locomotive works west Bengal.

The responsibilities will include:

\xc2\xb7 Providing technical support to Authorized service provider Service Engineer as well as customer.

\xc2\xb7 Consistently managing the customer relationship for smooth execution of the orders.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate on-site & off-site activities to ensure proper work progress.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible to closing customer issues on time.

\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience of managing Indian Railways customers.

• Leading all discussions and interfaces within the organization and towards customer stakeholders

• Consolidation of commissioning data Quality issues data and other required data and sharing to respective team and define action plan to implementation in filed.
• Hardware/software issues data re-consolidation.

\xc2\xb7 Managing the key KPIs of execution viz. Quality, Cost and Time

\xc2\xb7 Authorized service provider service Engineer movement control for railway Production unit (CLW, PLW & BLW).

• Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR E&E (Electrical Engineering) completed by recognized University and good understanding of electrical Schematic, logic and controls.
• Team leading capability and minimum experience of 5 -10 years of 3 phase electric locomotives products Services.
• Demonstrable expertise in Troubleshooting of rolling stock Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s, fault finding analysis in terms of drive propulsion system (preferably IR 3 phase Electric locomotives will be added advantage).
• Expertise in Troubleshooting of IGBT based Drive Propulsion system as well of 3 phase locomotives.
• Good understanding of electrical installations of propulsion system in locomotives.
• A Well-structured approach to problem solving and ability to learn fast.
• Ability to work effectively in close collaboration with multidisciplinary team\xe2\x80\x99s internal stake holder.
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi both written and spoken, other languages are an advantage.
