What You\'ll do

• Identifying recommended and security patches for our platforms
• Testing the deployment of identified patch bundles and application integration
• Creating/Updating Chef cookbooks pertaining to in store platforms
• Responding to and resolving daily operational alerts
• Partnering with Store Associates and Vendor partners via phone to resolve issues remotely
• Leveraging Agile methods to participate in daily operations and Project led efforts
• Understands business processes implications underlying critical applications and systems
• Partners with Senior Software Engineers with assessments of current application
• Follows and guides team members in Agile/XP development best practices: pair programming, test driven development
• Uses software code management tools and processes to ensure code traceability and good governance
• Develops test plans & follows strategies for small complexity business problems

What you know

• 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of experience in server administration with Linux
• High learning attitude
• Good debugging skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

• CS degree or equivalent experience
