Job Description
Strong skills and experience in delivering, administering, and configuring Linux (RHEL Versions 5.x up to 8.x), Solaris (10/11), and Veritas Cluster Experience of Solution, Design and Build of Linux, Solaris and Veritas services on virtual and cloud platforms (where appropriate) Ability to author clear design documentation (HLA, DLD etc) to high client presentable standard Oversee Delivery of solution, co-ordinating with third party vendors where necessary Analysis of project requirements and design solutions to specification Works collaboratively and proactively with all stakeholders such as client Architects, PM and SMEs Primary Skills Strong Linux Administration experience with strong Maria DB experience Solaris Veritas Cluster Secondary Skills Ability to troubleshoot Linux Vulnerabilities (output from Qualys) and remediate Knowledge of basic networking protocols such as IP, HTTP and DNS Good problem solving skills and has the ability to investigate the use of new technology
