Job Description

Legal Documentation & Advisory:

• Independently draft, review, negotiate, and finalize LAP-related banking legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, mortgage deeds, assignments, and securitization documents.
• Provide legal advice and opinions to business teams on LAP-related matters and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in structuring LAP products by advising on the legal framework applicable to such products.
• Ensure complete legal documentation and compliance for LAP transactions.

Due Diligence & Risk Management:

• Conduct legal due diligence of properties intended for mortgage under LAP, ensuring compliance with risk mitigation measures.
• Identify legal risks associated with LAP transactions and propose appropriate courses of action to safeguard the organization's interests.
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, financial regulations, and internal policies related to LAP.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with relevant departments to address legal risks and provide proactive legal solutions for LAP transactions.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
• Support business teams in structuring LAP deals while ensuring adherence to legal frameworks and guidelines.
