Job Description

The Manager - Legal will be responsible for handling legal matters within the Energy & Natural Resources industry, specifically focused on Renewable energy. This role requires expertise in legal compliance, contract negotiation, and regulatory frameworks.

• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing a wide range of contracts, MOUs, SLAs, legal notices, replies, pleadings, and other legal documents across business units.
• Ensuring high?quality commercial contract drafting in line with current legal best practices.
• Providing guidance on company law, corporate law, and principles of corporate governance to internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the formulation, revision, and implementation of company and departmental policies.
• Conducting legal research on corporate commercial laws, exchange control laws, and contract laws.
• Advising the business on statutory and regulatory compliances impacting operations.
• Handling litigation matters, including NCLT, civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
• Coordinating, following up, and providing structured support to external legal counsel.

An ideal candidate would possess:

• A degree in Law from a recognised institution.
• Experience range of 4-8 yrs. is required.
• Prior experience or familiarity with the energy / power / wind / solar /heavy manufacturing sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong command over contract drafting, legal analysis, and documentation management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.
