KredX is an online Bill Discounting Platform established in 2015 by a clutch of
bankers and techies from IIT Kanpur & Stanford to disrupt the trade receivables
discounting space in India. It has offices in Bangalore, New Delhi & Mumbai with
total team size of around 55 spread across these three locations.

KredX is also a series A Sequoia Capital funded company with established business
model & growth avenues across the entire trade receivables space in India and
already boasts of several large corporate as its clients.


Minions Ventures Private Limited (\xe2\x80\x9cKredX\xe2\x80\x99) is looking to hire a candidate to be part of its in-house legal team.

KredX started as an online Bill Discounting Platform in 2015 by a clutch of bankers and techies from
IIT Kanpur & Stanford to disrupt the trade receivables discounting space in India. KredX over a period
of time added many more products in the area of Working Capital, Growth Capital & Treasury
Income products using deep tech solutions catering to Large Enterprise / corporates. It has offices in
Bangalore, New Delhi & Mumbai.
KredX is a series A Sequoia Capital funded & series B Tiger Global funded company with established
business model & growth avenues across the entire trade receivables & Supply chain space in India
and already boasts of several large enterprise / corporates as its clients.
Reporting to: Head (Legal)
Responsibilities

• Convening and servicing annual general meetings (AGMs)/meetings (producing agendas, taking minutes, conveying

decisions, handling meeting correspondence and so on)

• Providing legal, financial and/or strategic advice during and outside of meetings
• Training directors and members of the senior leadership team on corporate governance matters keeping up to date

with any regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organisation ensuring that policies are up
to date and are approved providing support to the board or other committees on specific projects

• Overseeing the litigation for and on behalf of KredX;
• Sending legal notices and replies to legal notices for and on behalf of KredX respectively.
• Engaging with various law firms and lawyers to prepare strategies for various forms of litigations including but not

limited to proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016,
Commercial Courts Act, 2015 and to ensure the implementation of the aforesaid strategies.

• Reviewing the drafts of legal notices, petitions, complaints, plaints, replies, rejoinders prepared by external lawyers,

to be filed on behalf of KredX in ongoing as well as future litigations.

• Coordinating with business team(s) to collect and collate documents for the purpose of filing any fresh case(s) on

behalf of KredX.

• Keeping track of changes in laws applicable to KredX and preparing internal notes and checklist(s) for the same;
• Assist in closing strategic deals with external partners, services providers, resolving issues that arise in existing

commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries;

• Assisting in drafting and reviewing various types of agreements such as Confidentiality Agreements, Data Sharing

Agreements, Service Agreements, Channel Partner Agreements, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy etc.
Qualifications

• Law degree/ Qualified CS from a reputed university
• Post qualification work experience in the range of 2 to 4 years;
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
• Good communication (both written and verbal) skills;
• Prior experience in the FinTech or financial services industry would be preferred, but not mandatory;
• The candidate should possess good research skills.
