About Our Client
Our client is one of India\'s fastest growing energy power developers looking to hire a legal counsel -land focussed on acquisition of land for renewable projects.- Conducting Title Due Diligence for the project land (Solar/Wind/Hybrid) and advising the land team on legal implications in consonance with the rules and regulation applicable in the respective states (preferably Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu) from pre-purchase stage till creation and perfection of security in favor of Lenders
- Title Investigation, Title Transfer Deeds, agreement of Sale, Lease Deeds
- Liaison and co-ordination with external advocates and law firms for conducting Title Due Diligence for project land and timely submissions of the Title Due Diligence reports
- Liaison and convincing the Lender\'s Legal Counsel for security Creation over the project land,
- Mitigating any adversities related to the Title of the SPV and further negotiating with the Lender\'s Legal Counsel for perfection of the security and mitigating the penal interest.
- Ability to communicate with wide variety of audience : a) External - Tier 1 Law Firms, Local Lawyers, Land aggregators b) Internal - Senior Management from the Fund and Radiance, eye for details.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate legal issues and solutions in an articulate, precise and effective manner.
The Successful Applicant
You should have an LLB qualification with a minimum of seven years of experience in land acquistion preferably for renewable energy projects. You should have strong organizational and inter-personal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams across functions.What\'s on Offer
