Job Description







Background

Over recent year the Legal practice has deployed a series of technology platforms to underpin its operation. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and analytical support to the Legal Ops team utilising the tools already deployed. The person who fulfils this role will become instrumental in extracting value from the platforms and supporting our legal colleagues in delivering insights back to the business.



Objectives of Role

  • To ensure there is in-house knowledge of the underlying data models which support our Legal tools.
  • To act as the \xe2\x80\x98nerve centre\xe2\x80\x99 of the team, by having an in-depth knowledge of what data is available, how data is connected, and what data requires future improvement.




Key Activities

Legal Reporting
  • Working with the Legal Ops team members and Regional GC to develop dashboard reports.
  • Proactively clean up legacy data to support dashboard reporting.
  • Understand the data model behind the platforms to accommodate management need.
  • Develop a prioritised list of dashboard reports.
  • Manage routine backup of reports in conjunction with platform upgrades.
  • Register support calls on behalf of the Legal Ops team.
Law Firm Management Support
  • Backup support for Legal Ops team on daily routine.
  • Manage and prioritise Law Firm queries and escalate any non-standard queries to Legal Ops Management.
  • Manage the TeamConnect SA mailbox, monitoring and responding to queries internally and from external firms
System Support
  • Liaise with Legal Ops to understand configuration changes required
  • Test and implement WTW configuration changes.
Governance
  • Write up support call minutes and actions
  • Support Finance Business Partner on data validation work (adhoc)
  • Development of a comprehensive functional data model (data blueprint) for future reference.
  • Act as point person between ICS (information, security) and the technology partner on supplier risk and information security risk assessment actions.




Technical Skills Required

  • MS Office Suite plus, Advanced Excel
  • Reporting tools (i.e PowerBi)
  • Familiarity of cloud-based platform configuration tools.
