We\xe2\x80\x99re establishing three Legal Powerhouses in Bangalore, Mexico City and Barcelona, which will be an integral part of the Legal Function and provide defined, structured services to our other lawyers and to the wider business. Where this position fits-into the team:

• Part of the Unilever Legal Powerhouse \xe2\x80\x93 a team we\xe2\x80\x99re currently building, which will consist of around 65 colleagues in Bangalore.
• Integral part of the Unilever\xe2\x80\x99s Legal Function - a global operation consisting of approximately 600 lawyers and specialists.
• Based alongside the Uni Ops Function in Bangalore \xe2\x80\x93 a wider team of 2,000 that powers Unilever\xe2\x80\x99s compass strategy through world class business operations enabled by technology and innovation.

Role purpose To be the first point of contact for our brands and functions as they navigate Unilever\xe2\x80\x99s privacy processes. To facilitate the process of providing advice from multiple markets ensuring that the Unilever legal team in each market can focus their efforts on high-risk projects. To ensure Unilever continues to be transparent with consumers and employees with up-to-date privacy notices and that any privacy requests are handled quickly and professionally. Supporting the markets

• Acting as first point of contact for our brands and functions during the privacy risk assessment process.
• Supporting data protection advisors in the legal team in markets to handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs).
• Supporting operational privacy tasks such as data mapping.
• Work collaboratively with our local data protection advisors and Central Data Privacy Legal team and Business stakeholders on new global projects, including by supporting on global privacy risk assessments.
• Reporting on trends in privacy requests / issues, producing standard reports and supporting the team\xe2\x80\x99s agenda to become more data driven in decisions.

Protecting our consumers and employees

• Managing updates to the global privacy notice and acting as first point of contact for individuals who contact Unilever centrally with privacy queries.
• Managing the process to control access to documentation.
• Supporting the central Data Privacy Legal team to ensure that Unilever employees are trained on privacy.

Key Skills Relevant Experience

• Professional qualification in Law.
• Privacy experience or alternatively proven experience in compliance or risk sector.
• Experience in project management and coordination.
