Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including client and vendor contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements following corporate golden rules and guidelines
Ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws, securities regulations (SEBI), FEMA, RBI guidelines, labor laws, data privacy (DPDPA), and other applicable statutes
Monitor changes in Indian legislation and update internal stakeholders on legal risks and opportunities.
Manage corporate secretarial functions, filings with the MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), and statutory compliance
Advise on corporate structuring, subsidiaries, and corporate policies.
Manage insurance agreement following group instructions and monitor claim risks
Develop/conduct training for non-legal functions
Support commercial teams in negotiations, tender processes, and contract management.
Assist in mergers & acquisitions, private equity deals, and corporate restructuring.
Advise on employment law matters, IP protection, and competition law issues.
Handle litigation, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries in coordination with external counsel.
Develop strategies to minimize legal exposure and resolve disputes efficiently.
Conduct legal due diligence for investments, partnerships, and transactions.
Work closely with finance, HR, tax, and operations teams to align legal strategies with business goals.
Liaise with external legal advisors, insurance broker, government authorities, and industry bodies as needed.
