Objectives / Role :

• The principal representative of Lean/Continuous Improvement philosophy in the organization Effectively cooperates with entity management and fully supports the Lean Six Sigma approach utilization in general continual improvement initiative

• Hold responsibility for achievements of Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt team and Continuous Improvement Department and maintain related budget.

• Work with other Black Belts to maximize understanding and improvement efforts of Six Sigma through local sharing of project information and results.

• Leads and facilitates complex process improvement and standardization efforts inter-locally to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

• Identify internal and external (supplier) opportunities for improvement to assist the entity in meeting quality and cost reduction targets.

• Fully responsible for achieving/delivering the agreed quality improvement- and cost reduction targets of all Lean/Six Sigma projects taken on.

• Make lean manufacturing plan department/area wise and upgrade the team & implement 5S/Poka-yoke/Kanban/JIT/Kaizen methodology in Plant

• Participate in global network of internal expertise in TQM, Lean and Six Sigma

• Drive efficiency programs to develop the company towards Industry 4.0 and industrial benchmark on Tier 2 level

• Along with his/her responsibility area, he/ she must ensure compliance with knowing,understanding, and applying the Integral Policy, the organization objectives, the Management,Integral System procedures, the Operational Control of environmental aspects, of Hygiene and safety and the procedures of response to emergencies and to the contribution of Risks and accidents prevention.

• Compliance with the requirements of the IATF 16949 Norm, ISO 14001 and the customers’ requirements (automotive) of our Integral Management and Hygiene and Safety System.

• Attends Black Belt training classes, graduate and achieve a superior degree of knowledge and capability in the breakthrough process and the Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Achieve certification as a Black Belt Leader by successfully completing of five projects using the DMAIC process and by demonstrating technical proficiency in the Six Sigma methodology.

• Actively leads team of at least Green Belts and project teams on selected projects to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.

• Coordinates the annual / monthly / weekly statements of the areas of Lean and CI activities and distribute consolidated reporting to the local Management Team and the Regional Manager Lean/CI.

• Provide Top Management with projects evaluation, analysis and status updates on Six Sigma initiatives and projects.

• Prepare and write final report on principal projects.

• Take, act and give feedbacks based on numbers, data and facts.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

• Provide assistance and be a resource to functional departments and business units in identifying, planning and implementing Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

• Work with finance and other members of the organization in assessing, tracking and reporting the financial benefit of a Six Sigma Project

• Communicates Key Performance Indicators to the local Management Board Coaching and mentoring of high potentials in the local LEAN Organization for future career steps.

• Actively participate in all the activities and programs of the company (Quality, Ideas for Improvement, Training, Human Resources, Safety, Hygiene and Environment etc.) that apply according to the activities of the position.
