Job Description

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced tobacco leaf blenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep market understanding of the Indian tobacco industry and notable credentials in technical know-how and leaf product blending. These candidates could be either currently serving at leading TMOs and open to new opportunities, or ex-ITC and VST blenders or product/leaf professionals. Responsibilities: 1.To ensure consistent and uniform internal grading at blending to achieve required quality, uniformity, chemistry and nicotine targets specified by global supply chain requirements. 2. The position supervises Leaf Quality Checkers during blending ensuring delivery of a product free of non conforming tobaccos.
3. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient production of high-quality tobacco products.
4. Analyze tobacco leaf samples to determine the best blend for each product. 5. Continuously innovate and improve the tobacco blending process.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new tobacco products, and blending techniques. Requirements: 1. At least 4-5 years of experience as a tobacco leaf blender.
2. In-depth knowledge of tobacco varieties, curing processes, and grading systems.
3. Strong understanding of tobacco blending techniques and processes.
4. Excellent sensory analysis skills to differentiate tobacco characteristics.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A bachelor\'s degree in agriculture, food science, or related field is preferred.
