Strong IT delivery management background with specific experience in infrastructure implementation
Strong capabilities and experience in coordinating role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with customers and internal teams to deliver results
In-depth knowledge of IT and Data Centre process standards including knowledge of ITIL Service Management practices
IT service provisioning in the telecommunication industry
Well developed technical knowledge across a broad range of IT topics
International experience and background in service- and project- management in a complex business environment essential as well as ability to work across an international and distributed team
Fluency in English
Job Responsibities
1. Manage allocated workload within Project Delivery and Build team
Responsible for ensuring that all project information held within standard tracking tools and reports is of high quality and up-to-date
Initiate project delivery in-line with Project Delivery Management guidelines
Plan and manage agreed dates for project delivery within customer expectations
Manage any escalations through the team manager
Plan and manage workload against team priorities
2. Provide technical implementation management in GDC Data Centers for nominated projects
Manage purchasing of the planned hardware and software components and ensure their availability in time according with scheduled implementation
Plan and coordinate the installation of server, storage, LAN components, security components, databases, middleware systems and other system components according to required technical standards for implementation and operation
Ensure implementation of all configuration data in configuration management data base during set-up phase of a new service our customers
Ensure implementation of all deliveries against appropriate change control process
Plan and co-ordinate implementation and configuration of all backup and restore tool parameters and processes for our customers as directed by the GDC service catalogue
Responsible for ensuring all quality controls are met for implementation of IT infrastructure considering any local variations

3. Provide Project Management resource to support specific Service Delivery objectives
Responsibility for the technical implementation of key internal deliveries as allocated by the Project Delivery Management Lead
Provide full Project Management for allocated deliveries with complex objectives requiring a higher level of control
Ensure project delivery in accordance with standard PRINCE2 project management framework, thereby including project structures, controls and governance, change management, risk management and stakeholder communications as appropriate
Control implementation of parameters and functions in service monitoring and workflow tools based on SLA requirements provided by Service Level Management (Customer Management)
4. Operational Readiness and Acceptance (ORA)
Responsibility for gaining the approval for Operational QA (involves close collaboration with VT-IS Operations Unit and OPCOs based support functions)
Responsibility for delivery to GDC Operations Unit
Alignment of deployments to delivery standards
