Data Governance Leader - Agri/Supply Chain & Logistics
- Responsible for maintaining, implementing and ensuring compliance to the Data Governance strategies, policy, standards and processes to effectively govern data
Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain policies and standards for end-to-end data governance
- Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities
- Monitor and measure compliance to standards and processes
- Lead data domain working sessions by setting the agenda and preparing supporting documents
- Solve cross-BU governance issues and escalate as needed
- Create, manage and facilitate a Data Policy Governance process to identify and understand the critical data issues and ensure data policy enforcement and compliance
- Ensure governance mechanisms are in place to monitor and control access to data
- Conduct training sessions with the data stewards on the policy, standards and processes
- Coordinate with Data Stewards for each domain to achieve defined goals within group data management
- Lead communication on key governance priorities and successes across the enterprise as needed
Domain Skills :
- Highly skilled at facilitation and building consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to research, write, and verbally communicate about technical topics for a broad audience
- Track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, planning and managing multiple projects, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated understanding of data governance concepts
- Demonstrated partnering skills with both technical and non-technical partners, including senior leadership
- Ability to query and profile data to extract insights
Domain Experience :
- Experience in Agri industry (preferred) and Data Governance (all aspects) in respective function (Industrial/ Supply Chain & Logistics/ Commercial Risk Management) - Total experience 10+ years
Individual Skills :
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions
- Strong leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role
- Strong project management leadership
- Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams of business, IT and other key stakeholders
