About this job
We\'re looking for a visionary Lead Visual Designer to join our vibrant team. As our Lead Visual Designer, you\'ll spearhead the visual identity of our projects, lead and hire talented designers, and champion creative excellence across all our initiatives. Whether you\'re in Ahmedabad or working remotely, you\'ll be a pivotal part of our journey.


What you will be doing

• Craft and maintain brand identities that resonate with clients and their values.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into captivating visual solutions to deliver international-quality work.
• Provide strategic guidance and creative direction to align with client expectations.
• Revolutionize design operations to optimize project execution.
• Conceptualize and execute high-quality design deliverables, breathing life into products.
• Set design system guidelines, processes and protocols for products across various responsive platforms and interfaces
• Oversee the creation of UI that is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with best practices based on the product\'s visual language and guiding junior designers to execute the same.
• Lead and mentor a team of visual designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development.
• Hire and grow a team capable of delivering international quality work.
• Stay ahead of design trends and technologies to keep our processes cutting-edge.
• Be a brand ambassador for Aubergine, representing our values and commitment to excellence.

Must Have

• 10+ years of design experience, with 4+ years leading projects and teams.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design or related field;
• Master\'s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Stellar communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing diverse design projects and UI expertise.
• Expertise in interaction design, branding, visual design, and motion design.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a knack for inspiring others.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• Experience in fast-paced agency environments with remote teams preferred.
• Passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of design excellence.
