Job Description


Summary As the Lead System Designer, you will be responsible for working with multiple teams across the board to ensure appropriate processes are used for design & development of Edison fleet Ecosystem services. Must demonstrate clear strategic thinking, a strong capability to work cross-functionally across organizations, and an aptitude for driving Data Science product integration lifecycles. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to partner with internal GE teams, including Data Scientists to deliver high quality AI products Roles and Responsibilities Dual role of Product Security Representative ( PSR ) and Lead System Designer ( LSD ) Proven track record of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation. Sound knowledge of PRD milestones, and QMS and technical artifacts therein based on program scope - drives the design and release of these artifacts from concept to closure Works to ensure QMS compliance, DHF readiness & regulatory paperwork to enable Edison AI programs towards commercialization Shows expert knowledge of Development Operations, Continuous Integration and its impact on releasing quality products. Provides expert oversight, training & mentoring for team members Navigates through ambiguity, prioritizes conflicting asks and shows ability to adapt to changing project situations. Demonstrates expert level skills in collaborating with different stakeholders, Influences decisions and an ability to take strategic view. Ensuring that the quality targets are satisfied and retires technical risks as they arise on the program Representing the design team and design control process from requirements development and design planning to design transfer Representing the design team in the development of verification and validation planning and execution Developing requirements flow down , architecture/system design and analysis, risk analysis, integration and test, manufacturing, field and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction Ensuring compliance of the product to cyber security standards and regulations by proper DEPS framework . Leverages knowledge in advanced aspects of technical/functional areas and applies technical theory and practical experience with input from relevant functional areas to solve complex problems Works independently and possesses a level of functional expertise necessary to influence project delivery Foresee risks and create risk management solutions as appropriate Inclusion and Diversity GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
