Partner with the best
To drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies, and application in a concrete organizational context.
As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Being responsible for both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
• Being responsible for supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Being responsible for Supplier Quality Engineering has various levels of differentiation which are related to the level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to manage vendors.
• Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes, and procedures in their field.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Drive continuous process improvements at external suppliers, and enhance quality levels for incoming parts at BH sites.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s from an accredited university or college and a Minimum of total 5 to 7 Years experience in Manufacturing / Quality/Supplier Quality / Supplier Development.
• Hands-on experience in Casting, Precision Machining and Special Processes (such as Surface coatings, and welding) applied for commodities like Valves, Springs, rubber and high-precision parts.
• Hands-on experience/deployment of quality tools, and problem-solving techniques. Strong QMS expertise; Ability to Interpret various international codes and standards in valves or the oil & gas industry.
• Have strong knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA tools and techniques
• Have sound oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong Quality, Lean and Six Sigma mindset.
