Your responsibilities As a Supplier Quality Engineer - Business Partner, you will Participate in the Supplier Sourcing Process. Quality engineering capability assessments of potential new Suppliers. Core member of Product Development project teams. Drive APQP plan development, execution, monitoring and control as part of the Product Development process. Contribute to Supplier Project Book content. Support Design for Excellence \'DfX\' collaboration between R&D and Supplier. Ensure critical to quality characteristics are flown down to Supplier. Part Submission Warrant \'PSW\' plans, deliverables, line release and completion. Drive Supplier Quality improvement and development through APQP. With a special focus on... Managing the Supplier Initiated Change Request \'SICR\' Process for the Business, including SICR intake, review and prioritization with cross functional team, daily management status follow up, Change Request submissions & SICR acknowledgements and closures. Executing PSWs on Sustaining Change projects. To succeed in this role, you\'ll need a customer-first attitude and the following Bachelor degree in Engineering More than 5 years Quality relevant work experience with medical device industry, automotive or other regulated industry experience being preferred. Experience in quality engineering and process/manufacturing engineering. Hands-on production technology experience in one or more of high-level electromechanical assembly, PCBA, plastic injection molding or metal fabrication/machining. Practical application of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (DfSS, CtQ, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA/GR&R, Control Plans, etc). Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. Lead quality auditor certification and experience preferred. Working knowledge/experience in industry standard New Product Introduction processes.
