: Job Title - Lead - Software Engineering - Plynk The Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology team within the Fidelity Brokerage Technology organization is looking for an energetic Lead Software Engineer who blends deep technology expertise with a passion for building best in class solutions. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse and self-driven. The Purpose of This Role The Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology team is making investing easier for novice investors through its new mobile app, Plynk. You will play a leading role in the Plynk technology team in defining and implementing best in class engineering solutions. You will collaborate with product owners, developers and application teams to build solutions that simplify investing and delight our customers. The Value You Deliver Building and testing new features and functionality in the Plynk mobile app Collaborating with the product owner to understand Plynk\'s user experience and driving implementation through hands-on development Working closely with UX designers to convert wireframes to actual mobile app screens Working to continuously improve technology craft - patterns, practices, tools, and methods Creating and maintaining code to best standards. The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral You are proficient in UI development using Angular, HTML and CSS, with proven foundations in object-oriented programming. You have experience integrating APIs and a strong understanding of RESTful web services. You have a good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and are comfortable deploying applications in a DevOps environment You have knowledge of secure coding standards and practices You are familiar with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent) You have used test automation tools (Jest, Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium or any other mocking framework) You have done iOS and Android mobile app development, preferably in a hybrid tech stack using Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova The Skills that are Good To Have for this role You have strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely put forth concepts and ideas. Our objective is to build a state-of-the-art app that powers the world\'s most intuitive investing process. Plynk will help the organization generate new revenue streams and acquire new customers in an increasingly competitive market. Plynk is being built by the Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology team in Fidelity Brokerage Technology (FBT). FBT provides a wide range of brokerage technology solutions for Fidelity Institutional (FI) technology and business partners. FBT provides technology services in the area of development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support of mission-critical brokerage applications. The FBT platform support is used by 300+ correspondent banks, 5000+ investment advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds, and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Bangalore and Chennai.
