What's the role?

In this role, you will:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle of our service
• Develop an innovative, scalable, high-quality set of microservices in a cross-functional team
• Provide technical leadership on the service architecture
• Write clean, simple and well-tested code
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate effectively in and across teams
• Provide rotational on-call support to the product and root cause analysis of software and system defects

Who are you?

You are a team-player who collaborates with developers, designers, testers and product manager to create an amazing user experience. You have experience with all aspects of the production software lifecycle. You have good interpersonal skills and feel comfortable coordinating efforts across teams. You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

You are a self-motivated, creative and proactive individual with strong understanding of the software development processes and methodologies. In addition, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree and Strong programming skills with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong Back-end development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Excellent experience building and using REST API
• Experience running production service on cloud-based environment, using Kubernetes and/or AWS
• Experience with CI systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, or other)
• Front-end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS

You will be part of Test Engineering and Developer Automation Services team. Our team's mission is to increase the HERE developer productivity and efficiency. We accomplish this by providing a set of core tools to streamline the way our developers build production services:

• Automate service lifecycle - self-serve portal which give developers autonomy to manage their service components during its lifecycle. We guide developers through the needed steps to build production ready services, without compromising quality, while speeding the time to market.
• Test Automation - a set of tools to automate the test execution and reporting in various stages of service lifecycle. This enables developers get quick feedback about the quality of their deliverables.
