The Lead Consultant takes care of production support by troubleshooting and resolving any degradation of performance,application availability (including weekends) and involvement in Major and Minor releases along with DR (DisasterRecovery) activity. Lead Consultant also takes care of monitoring using Splunk, Datadog, Postman and other tools andensure application availability round the clock and lead the team operationally, technically and functionally.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads a group of 6-8 members and coordinates with Engineering, Product Mgmt, Environment, DBA and other integration partner teams
- Ensuring validations on weekdays and weekends are done promptly and engage leadership and SMEs as required during ECC Support
- Providing production support including triage, troubleshooting (24x7), root cause analysis and resolution
- Provide proactive solutions to address potential issues related to application availability, RCA
- Build relationships with members of multiple Engineering, Development, Operations, and Architectural organizations
- Proactively investigate and participate in discussions regarding new technologies and their impact
- Create and maintain technology and application documentation for use by peers, clients and business users.
- Leverage monitoring and alerting processes to improve the system stability
Primary Skills
Primary Skills : Java
Secondary skillset : React.Js (Good to have)
Experience
Both lateral (C1=>C1) and vertical movement (B2 => C1) is allowed 6-8 years
Shift Timing
Rotational Between 5 PM - 2 AM IST and 11 PM to 7 AM IST including weekends Week Offs (2 in a week) will be rotational This is a night shift position on a permanent basis
