Nextuple is rapidly expanding in its digital offerings and is in need of Lead Software Engineer to join the fast-growing, customer-facing digital applications space.

The Lead Software engineer provides the technical and architectural solutions for integrating applications, programs, tools, and data on enterprise Ecommerce projects. This position is the pivotal role that leads the technical completeness of a project throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Define system specifications based on business needs
• Review designs, code, and other deliverables developed by the extended team to ensure quality and accuracy
• Assist solution architect and team leads with developing estimates and schedule for development components
• Experience building enterprise scale applications involving integrations with external systems
• Leads the work of small groups for assigned Ecommerce projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples
• Assist project manager with change management activities
• Develop best practices, technical artifacts, and reusable components and develop tools and standard solutions that reduce the TCO for projects
• Perform installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure applications used in projects
• Work cross-functionally across geographies and time zones
  

Essential Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of technical experience for Ecommerce development projects
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical and/or supply chain field, or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience working with XMLs, XSLs, and JSON
• Working knowledge of public clouds (i.e., Azure, AWS)
• Hands-on experience with UI technologies such as Angular, React JSIn depth knowledge of retail, distribution, and supply chain domain fundamentals
• Thorough understanding of the complete Customer Order Fulfillment lifecycle, and end-to-end visibility, and utilization within business processes
• Experiencing executing Omni-channel initiatives in retail organization
• Must be self-motivated and assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment
• Good organizational skills and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed
• Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Digital Commerce, Order Management, Order Fulfillment and overall supply chain and supporting systems (Commerce Platforms, OMS, WMS, TMS, Planning and Replenishment)
• Proficient in Jira and familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)

Desirable Skills

• Demonstrates attention to details
• Proven skills in enterprise software design, development, testing, and implementation
• Experience with retail Order Management System such as IBM Sterling
• Distributed Order Management (DOM), Manhattan OMS, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud Order Management
• Experience with IBM Sterling Order Hub and Global Inventory Visibility (GIV) and/or Inventory Visibility (IV)
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of the Ecommerce solutions
• Has ability to work in a lightweight process environment, including requirements and test planning documentation
• Ability to learn quickly and stay on top of emerging technologies
• Self-motivated and works with minimal direction

• Experience with Cloud, SaaS, emerging cloud use-cases for web/mobile and enterprise companies, or complex supply chain networks
