About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer ( Java Full Stack Developer) capable of working in Agile Scrum teams/pods of 10 team members and work with US and India teams to develop a web based application using modern tools and technologies. Candidate should have strong knowledge on Core Java J2ee technologies & Cloud platforms

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, International:

• Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • J2EE, XML, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring REST / MVC, Spring Data JPA
  • Web Services, REST, JAX-WS, JAX-RPC, JAXB, SOAP
  • HTML5, CSS3, ReactJs, Node JS, TypeScript, JavaScript
  • Oracle 11g, 12c with SQL, PL/SQL
  • Responsive design knowledge
  • UI/UX experience
  • Experience integrating front-end with back-end services
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, preferably Git
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work directly with US partner teams
  • Should be good with SDLC processes
  • Should be willing to work in shifts to provide better overlap with the US partner team & EGS teams

• Thorough understanding of React.js and popular React.js workflows
• Familiarity with RESTful services
• Design experience and Scrum experience
• Strong JavaScript proficiency
• CSS, HTML, JavaScript expertise

• UI/UX experience

Job Expectations:

• 10 years of experience in Java Full Stack development (Analysis, design, development, testing and delivery of application software) using Java Springboot, REST API services etc.
  
  • 4 years of good hands on expertise in UI technologies like ReactJs is a desired skill.
  • Should be able to work & guide a team of 10 developers and build good rapport with with various Project stakeholders (QA, ScrumMaster, Project Manager etc) and other interface developers both in US and EGS.
  • Experienced in development, design and architecture with Java, J2EE and related technologies.
  • Coordinate with architects and business experts across the application to translate key strategic objectives into actionable and governable roadmaps and designs.
  • Analyze business and technology challenges and suggest solutions
  • Experienced with development and maintenance of web applications and enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Expertise in Java, object oriented design and analysis, programming styles and design patterns.
  • Expertise in creating and consuming SOAP & REST web services
  • Expertise in J2EE application development using Servlets, JDBC, Struts, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Jquery, JSON and RESTful Web Services and JMS.
  • Good experience in code management, build and deploy tools - GitHub, Jenkins & uDeploy
  • Perform back end code reviews and writing unit test cases and automating them using suitable tool like Junit, Cucumber etc.
  • Help clear impediments related to back end development
  • Fluency in best practices for web based information architecture and design using Springboot
  • Coordinate with architects and business experts across the application to translate key strategic objectives into actionable and governable roadmaps and designs.
