The opportunity:

We are looking for passionate people that are ambitious, creative, and driven to work on difficult problems and provide innovative solutions. In the Lead Full Stack Developer role, you will be one of the primary contributors to OpenText Core (https://core.opentext.com), a cloud-based file sharing and collaboration service. You will work as part of a collaborative and co-operative Agile team to maintain Core and implement new features with quality. You will help shape the future of OpenText Core, solve challenging problems, and assist your teammates in getting stuff done.
You are great at:

• 
  As required, seeks customer input, may take responsibility for customer situations, (internal and external customers).
• Acts as a prime consultant on critical projects that impact long term organizational goals and objectives.
• Work with product owners/product managers and engineering leads to define the release candidates.
• Lead software design/code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.
• Has insight into industry trends and communicates vision to guide organizational and Opentext strategy.
• Contributes technical expertise to help determine requirements and functional specifications for entire system.
• Mentor/coach junior resources in the team and in the organization.

What it takes:

• 
  Developed enterprise web software applications for at least 8 years
• Cloud Application Development (DevOps, AGILE, SCRUM and ALM with Java, Javascript, HTML, AngularJS, REST, JSON, Node.js)
• Experience in any of RDBMS and SQL
• Participated in feature request analysis, feature design, and implementation
• Communicated the merits of various designs and approaches
• Contributed ideas during design and planning discussions
• Experience in architecting Kubernetes and Docker based solutions and CI/CI pipelines.
• Experience in handling performance and Security related aspects of web applications.
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills, and good communication skills.
• Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies.
• Time management skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to influence others to achieve results, and presentation skills.
• Mentoring/Coaching skills.
• Reviewed code of other developers
• Mentored junior developers
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
