The Role : Lead Software Engineer, Application Development

The Team : Analytical Excellence team within S&P Global Ratings Technology

The Impact : As a Senior Software Developer at S&P Global, you will be involved in building high-quality, secure and scalable applications used by our analyst across the globe. You will be using the latest cloud services to build applications. These applications are the backbone of publishing articles on the client facing products, i.e. standardandpoors.com, spratings.com, marketintillgence.com

Responsibilities :
Build high-quality secure and scalable applications on the Microsoft technology stack which includes C#.NET, ASP.Net, WCF & Windows Services
Work closely with global teams and technical leads to analyze, design and develop new and existing solutions
Participate in quality assurance and support aspects of the projects
Learn, design, develop and implement cross business process solutions
Experience in Incident Management and Change Management

What We are Looking For :
Basic Qualifications :
7-10 years of strong and hands-on experience on working C#.NET Win and Web Applications
Experience on ASP.NET, WCF and Windows Services is must
Experience with front end web application technologies such as Angular, Typescript and Node Js
Experience with XML, schemas (DTD, XSD) and SOAP
Experience in IIS configuration and Administration
Experience with relational database technologies and programming
Knowledge and experience in software development tools, technologies, methodologies and best practices
Knowledge and experience in CICD with software build systems and code management technologies such as Git & Jenkins
Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design principles, patterns and implementation.
Knowledge and ability to work in an agile development environment.
Ability to manage multiple project priorities and competing demands.
Excellent technical ,analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Microservice Architecture and Cloud Computing (AWS)
Experience with TDD and test frameworks.
Knowledge of Powershell, VB scripting, Python
