Lead Software Development Engineer, Platforms - Data & Services
As a Lead Software Development Engineer on the Platforms team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll hold a valued role within a rapidly growing and successful firm, working closely with experienced and driven senior engineers to solve problems as a team. Innovative product opportunities, modern business questions, and intricate datasets present uniquely challenging problems that we are eager to take on. The Mastercard D&S next generation platform blends industry-leading analytics, advanced software architecture, and the latest web technologies to face these problems. Our software is required to effectively decipher analytically complex insights from these problems, on which businesses base multi-million dollar business decisions.

As a member of the Test & Learn team, you will apply your full-stack development skills to building industry-leading business experimentation software that brings sophisticated analytic techniques to business users around the world. We are rapidly expanding our product offerings and innovating on how we deliver Test & Learn solutions to our clients. We are looking for an innovative software engineer who can play a role in helping us scale our platform development and tackle the big challenges of the future. This individual will help our teams build robust frontend for T&L.

The range of work you encounter varies from designing highly-performant data processing at scale to building world-class analytics to creating great user interfaces and beyond. Position Responsibilities:
At Mastercard D&S, you will build revolutionary products that advance how businesses all over the world seize the most value from their data. As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will:

Build features used by some of the world\'s largest organizations to make multi-million dollar decisions
Lead and push the boundaries of analytics and powerful, scalable applications
Drive the roadmap for a suite of web applications aimed to bring data decision making process to our clients and make valuable improvements to the capability of our products
Play the role of a team technical lead, guiding the work of other team members and leading technically excellent development
Design, build, and evolve current systems to handle increase in data volume and user base as we scale globally
Mentor and provide guidance to other team members
Work as Front end technologies SME
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Full stack engineering experience in an agile production environment
Proficiency with advanced object-oriented programming, microservice development, and databases
Passion for analytical / quantitative problem solving
Experience designing and managing frontend frameworks, frontend performance optimization, REACT, .net, unit Testing, microservices, CI/CD
Motivation, creativity, self-direction, and desire to thrive on small project teams
Superior academic record with a degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Experiencing mentoring engineers and leading technical projects
