ROLE SUMMARY
As the Site Security Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting all physical, electronic, and procedural security processes and programs at the locations. The incumbent will ensure the site is fully compliant with Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s Minimum-Security Requirements (MSR), and regulatory requirements as they relate to the security of people, facilities, product, materials, and Company reputation. This position is responsible for administrative oversight of the contracted Security Officer vendor, ensuring the vendor meets contractual requirements. Acts as the primary interface to local and regional law enforcement agencies, other regulated partners and protection of executives as requested by Global Security. Is the primary and responsible administrator for security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor and management. Conducts confidential investigations, interfacing with Pfizer Global Security on matters falling under the serious incident reporting guidelines. The position will take an active role in managing the security portions of capital projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides guidance to support Management and location Site Security Associates (SSAs) to achieve attainment with Pfizer policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Reviews, recommends and conducts proactive security awareness training/programs for colleagues.
  • Ensures security procedures are current and follow applicable Pfizer requirements.
  • Ensures security equipment and tools meet operational needs and fosters the collaboration of security integrators and technicians to maintain systems functional integrity.
  • Ensures alignment with minimum requirements embedded in Pfizer Global Minimum Security Requirements (MSR), Security Technical Application Requirements, and Conveyance Product Care Requirements.
  • Complies with Global Security ARGOS reporting requirements, to include maintaining site profile and reporting of special incidents.
  • Works with country management and the GSPOC to develop security processes to improve the efficiency of the security program.
  • Liaises with government agencies to increase the protection of Pfizer property and personnel and its investigative capabilities, and to represent the company interest.
  • Assumes other duties as requested.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree from an accredited institution

  • At least five years of experience in security gained through roles of increasing responsibility which demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Demonstrated commitment and engagement.

  • Agile, innovative improver.

  • Interpersonal and conflict resolution.

  • Trust builder, leverage diversity, and apply business acumen.

  • Works well with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fosters collaboration and teamwork.

  • Proficient in MS Office 365.

  • Writing and presentations skills

  • Travel may be required.

  • Available to provide on-call support after working hours and/or weekends.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to develop, implement, and sustain security procedures and guidelines.

  • Knowledge of guard force management, budget, security risk assessment process, physical security, and electronic security.
