Role Summary

• Make inventions, which lead to commercial significant patents and impacts top line and bottom-line business growth.
• To network with business laboratories and academia on relevant projects to seek multiplier effect.
• Demonstrate the lab scale processes to process engineering team. Associate with the pilot scale and plant scale execution of selected processes for technology transfer.
• Develop and execute experimental plan to generate reproducible data and analyse the same for supporting scientific hypothesis and concepts. Develop innovative experimental procedures and data collection method to achieve desired goals. Maintain experimental work area Conduct/provide support in testing.
• Lead a team of 2-4 M.Sc./Ph.D level chemist entrusted with project execution and ensure their training and development with a view to continuously upgrade knowledge and skill base.

Job Requirements

• Experience in New product development, process development and commercialization.
• In-depth domain expertise in Organic/Polymer/Material Chemistry or Chemical engineering, preferably with experience in Chemical Industry.
• Experience in New Product Development, Process development and commercialization.
• Understanding of the market/customer needs and the aligned product development and its commercialization.
• Capability of building stakeholder/customer relationships, Project Portfolio Development, Recruiting, Leading, and nurturing of the Talent.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse set of stakeholders from across functions and regions.
• Experience in large technology organization, managing multiple projects and stakeholders to deliver value to business.
