What you will do Conduct process development on customer projects, and maintain and operate small- and large-scale bioprocess equipment Lead and/or independently execute customer process development projects Management of laboratory and day-to-day functioning w.r.t equipment, chemicals and processes to maintain or increase efficiency Deliver customer trainings both theoretical and practical and contribute to updating course content Experience and theoretical knowledge of various techniques used for own discipline (USP, DSP, or Analytics) Follow and comply with local regulations and good laboratory practices Develop deep understanding of Cytiva products and applications Be involved, alongside commercial team, in understanding customer requirements for projects and trainings Guide, train and lead Associate Scientist or Research Associate in execution and documentation of projects, data handling and analysis, and evaluation of outcomes Maintain accurate and complete records of all work, and report to customers and management in oral and written manner Ability to communicate technical information with non-technical or non-scientific staff, and to interact effectively with internal and external representatives Who you are M.Sc/M.tech/Ph.D (Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or related Life Sciences field) with minimum 10 years experience in USP or DSP, PD, scale-up, tech transfer, manufacturing or equivalent Quickly assesses new situations, demonstrates flexibility in thinking matches approach to the demands of the situation and takes action Leverages past learnings, business context, and other relevant data points to solve current problems coaches associates to do the same.
