Learn more about our Segmentation Specialist communication is between internal customers (MPS) to provide technical support for Mako surgeries. This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The candidate should possess a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based. What will you do Key Areas of Responsibility The Segmentation Specialist will review and process CT Scan data, and convert those files into 3D bone models to develop custom pre-operative surgical plans. He/She will also review 3D models and pre-operative surgical plans to ensure quality, and upload completed plans to field based personnel for case execution. Support all Segmentation request for India Review CT Scans for conformity to required protocol. Segment CT Scan Data using specialized software to create 3D Anatomical Bone Models. Create Pre-Operative Surgical Plans for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Arthroplasty. Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, and implant sizing and positioning. Upload completed Pre-plans and share with MPS\'s. Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures. Follow work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output. What you need Education/Work Experience Degree holder of Biomedical Engineering, Science or health-related discipline 2+ years of experience in Segmentation is preferred. Experience in segmentation, or medical imaging, radiology preferred (x-ray, CT, MRI, etc.) Detail-oriented with analytical mindset Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure.
