Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the project management, application-lifecycle-management and access control vision
  • Liaise with the teams that are instrumental in delivering the project management capability
  • Set criteria for release readiness with regards to functionality of the solution
  • Coordinate with multiple cross-functional technical teams to deliver objectives in fast-paced and complex programs and projects
  • Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
  • Primary upward interactions are with different functional team and required to understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals and deliverables
  • Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, shape realistic project plans, follow up on deliverables
  • Develop and collect KPIs and regular progress updates for the projects you manage; communicate them to management and other relevant stakeholders
  • Preparing detailed program schedules and engage all key stakeholders and cross functional teams. Actively monitoring project milestones, critical paths, slippages, and other project key review areas
  • Coordinate, follow up with internal and external stakeholders to eliminate data/information dependencies. Escalate appropriately to ensure project timelines are met
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings in case of cross functional engagements, followed by capturing and publishing MoMs with clear actionables and timelines. Further, follow up with internal external action owners for closure of MoM points.
  • Timely review projects toll gates with project teams at the end of each phase or milestone, identify project issues, change to project and mitigation for the timely and successful delivery of the project.
  • Organize and multi-task sufficiently to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effectively gather all relevant information, identify relationships, draw logical conclusions and interpret results for use in decision-making
Desired Competency
  • The candidate is expected to have 10-12 years of experience in managing and delivering large scale Telecom projects , preferably in a similar TELCO/OEM/System Integrators in Telecom NOC / Managed services
  • Awareness and working knowledge of one or more of New Generation Operation System & Software (NGOSS) suite of tools like Netcool, HP TeMIP, Service Management System like Siebel/ HP-SM/Remedy/ServiceNow, Service Fulfilment Systems like Oracle Order Mgmt, Clarity, Metasolve/M6 etc.. Service Orchestration/Automation platforms like Cisco NSO, Ciena Blue Planet
  • Significant experience working on network layer, service layers of wireline and wireless products
  • Good understanding on product deployed in Bharti network, NOC level process and tools used on day to day operations
  • Ability to communicate convincingly at a sufficient process and technical depth
  • Must be skilled to come out with an action plan to set things rights in areas of concern and weakness
  • Excellent operational, programmer and presentation skills
  • Proven experience as a technical Project Manager managing multiple projects
  • Relevant insights of Telco technology while being able to maintain helicopter view
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
