Job Title Lead Principal Engineer/Architect

Purpose

Contribute to the delivery of the best-in-class distributed application/platform/information security solutions for the GTC platforms with a focus on shaping compliant solutions, integrating all aspects from compliance, effectiveness, usability, automation and process

Key accountabilities

The successful candidate had a significant experience in developing IT solution and was exposed to all aspects of it including implementation and quality. Ideally, he worked in a cloud environment (preferably Microsoft Azure) and built a solid understanding of the security matters, from the risks understanding to effective solutions design and implementation of SOA.

(S)he becomes then the leader in solving the challenges of security compliance for all the GTC services.

(S)he:

• Understands and follow the evolution of the corporate IT security architecture / strategy and its alignment with: The Amadeus IT Group company business objectives, its legal / regulatory / contractual / ethical constraints and with its risk appetence. The Corporate Security Office AISMS and risk management framework.
• Understands the GTC platform and central applications to: To support business and secuirty risk analysis, translating their outcome into relevant mitigation
• To lead the construction and implementation of the mitigation solutions (tools, process, people)
• Supports the platform security architecture strategy new projects implementation (expertise, design review and approval, design adjustments and ad-hoc palliative measures \xe2\x80\xa6)
• Supports new Projects, new initiatives & businesses with respect to Internal IT security architecture and Application Cloud Migration issues: Support or leads the design of corresponding Application Cloud Migration.
• Contributes to IT security awareness promotion with both internal and external stakeholers

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for distributed software/solution/platform architecture throughout the development lifecycle to address development, tooling, deployment, and maintenance concerns.
• Assess customer requirements, business constraints and roadmap to define NFRs and build them into the architecture
• Be responsible for the evaluation of the alternate architectures (for both staging and production environments) and selection of candidate architecture considering system constraints and product/solution vision and roadmap aligned with the global techno-business vision.
• Architecture governance and enforcement in the team through design, guidance, coding guidelines and reviews for both staging and production environments
• Effectively communicate and influence business and technology stakeholders to get the acceptance of the candidate architecture.
• Ensure architecture governance is done by evangelizing in teams, reviews, and evaluation of the design to be aligned with the selected architecture
• Be part of technology strategy definition along with senior engineers/principal engineers to cater to long term business needs and industry trends
• Ideation and innovation driver
• Actively participate and contribute to the larger architect community at Organization level to promote reuse, best practices, and knowledge management

Professional Skills

• Knowledge and experience of Cloud technologies and middleware services (SI, Context Server, Cache distribution...) architecture and exposure to working on complex distributed applications
• In depth understanding of Security Models (Application & Cloud) Architecture, EDA/SOA architecture (preferably C++/Java/Oracle), ideally cloud computing (preferably Microsoft Azure) architecture
• Knowledge on both platform and application security architecture
• Trouble shooting skills in threat intelligence, vulnerability management (Severity Critical and High.. )
• Exposure to Automation (UI & API) and scheduling tools (Ansible / Jenkins / Terraform/\xe2\x80\xa6. )
• Understanding of storage systems and network
• Understanding of data encryption and security
