Job Title- Lead Principal Auditor \xe2\x80\x93 Technology Findings Validation

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

• As the Lead Principal Auditor (Lead PA) you will report into the responsible PAM for Technology \xe2\x80\x93 Findings Validation under the Chief Auditor (CA) for Technology \xe2\x80\x93 Central Functions, Private Bank & Data.
• In this role you will support the PAM in the delivery of finding validations assigned to the team, further the coordination of validations with other Technology audit teams. Responsibilities will include handling of validations of complex Significant Findings across the technology domain (including business applications, IT infrastructure systems, tools, and processes, and cybersecurity) for completion on time, on quality, and on budget, as well as oversight and guidance of other involved auditors including monitoring and acceptance of their documentation in order to present finalized and quality-assured results to the PAM for sign-off.
• Within the team you will lead by example and guide auditors in the processing of work packages. You act as a coach to further develop the experience and competence level of the whole team.

Your key responsibilities

• Validation of findings assigned to the Technology - Findings Validation Team, based on GA methodology and including root cause, design and operating effectiveness reviews. Such validations may include findings from across the IT audit domain, including IT applications (in part in collaboration with the Business Audit teams), IT infrastructure systems or processes, and cybersecurity.
• Completion of assigned work orders within agreed timeframes, as well as coordination and timely escalation when necessary, involving all relevant stakeholders including the PAM.
• Support the PAM in coordinating (scheduling, staffing, monitoring timely execution) validations as part of the annual audit plan, in close cooperation with the other IT audit teams.
• Counter-assist other IT Audit teams in conducting audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of IT General Controls, Automated IT Controls and IT Processes.
• Communicate openly with colleagues on the Global IT Audit teams in the various locations, and partner with the audit teams responsible for auditing business processes and controls.
• Proactively build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, other parts of the business and respective support areas. This also includes experience-based support in the further development of methodological approaches.

Your skills and experience

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field.
• Several years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in IT audit, IT risk management or information security and a very good understanding of some of the following areas:

• IT Security,
• IT production control and processes (e.g. change / problem management) and re-relevant frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT),
• Information Security,
• IT Application security
• Banking and transaction processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively in conflict situations. Additional foreign language skills are not a requirement.
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking with the ability to clearly describe control weaknesses and associated risks. Flexible, proactive and innovative attitude with very strong organizational skills to meet agreed objectives such as timely and efficient completion of audit projects within agreed budget.
• Ability to lead and coordinate several audit projects in parallel, including oversight over scope completion and quality of work.
• Ability to work in partnership within the team and be a role model, guide and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent in information security, project management or process/quality management would be an asset but not a must.
